ALL ABOUT THE PRINT

During this season we've seen a parade of bright colors and crazy prints, which I think are two of the coolest trends for the summer. And what better way to use color than in a bold mix of prints, like on my new Custo Barceloa shirt, which pop of color I love. No other brand plays with prints and colors as Custo does, it's amazing how they can create unique pieces with the most dramatic mix of prints, textures and colors. Definitely  pieces that would stand out anywhere.

Printed shirt - Custo Barcelona / Fitted lime skirt - H&M / Bright Candy bag - Furla / Multi strap sandals - Aldo.

I'm a bit tall to use this shirt dress as an actual dress, so I decided to wear it as a top and paired it with my lime toned skirt to match the bright colors form the shirt. To complete my fun and colorful look, I used my new candy bag, which matches perfectly the outfit's color scheme. I looked for this bag for a long time and now I finally found it, so you can imagine how happy I am to hold it in my hands!! it's so cool and perfect that it will quickly become my "it" bag for the summer.

Enjoy your day & don't forget to smile!!

OAXACA, OAXACA

A week ago I traveled to Oaxaca with my family, I was very excited to visit this beautiful city for the first time. I was dying to go to all it's famous places and  get to know everything around. The main reason of our trip was to finish up some details  for my brother's wedding, who is actually getting married in november over there. So you can imagine my excitment when we got there, I couldn't wait to visit the wedding venues and see the place where the wedding is happening. I was so happy to be a part of the wedding planning, there are so many things to consider and even more when its all the way to Oaxaca which is across the country from our home town. But you'll see how worth it the long trip actually is, with few pictures I took of some of the places we visited. You'll see how beatiful this place is, and how gorgeos a wedding here would be.

Hope you liked this small documentation of my trip, as you can see I saved the best for last,  with this picture of the breathtaking Santo Domingo Church which is one of the most beautiful cathedrals I've ever seen in my life.  The hole altar is covered in gold and  the entire church is full with amazing details, that just draws you in. Can you imagine that is actually the place where my brother is going to say I do!! I mean, is it just me or it's the most exiting thing ever! Im already counting the days.

Hope the months go by really fast, I cant wait for the date to get here!!

Andrea

SWEET PARADISE

I found this old corset in my closet the other day, and realized I haven't used it in a while. So I thought it would be nice to wear it again, during the day to mix things up a bit on my daily looks. To make it day appropriate, I decided to paired it up with my linen shorts, creating a romantic and feminine monochromatic look, perfect for a hot summer day.

Corset top - Charlote Russe / High waisted linen shorts - H&M / Leather belt - Steve Madden / Tortoise sunglasses - DKNY / Big stone rIng - Mango / Chunky platforms - Jessica Simpson.

To complete my beige monochrome look, I wore my new DKNY tortoise frames and my never worn huge wood platforms. They go great with this pair of shorts and helped create this cute little outfit, which neutral colors make it look sweet and chic at the same time.
Friday is just a day away..  Get ready for the weekend!

Andrea
